History :: Reid-Ashman Manufacturing

 

1979 Steve Reid and Jack Ashman start "R and A Engineering," doing after-hour consulting and design work on semiconductor test equipment.
1980 By January 1980 they have developed a number of products and their reputation for innovative ideas is spreading. Demand for these products is such that they leave their full-time employment and incorporate as Reid-Ashman.
1982 Jack Ashman retires.
1983 Reid-Ashman becomes a publicly traded company.
1986 Steve Reid acquires all stock.
1988 Reid-Ashman introduces mechanical docking hardware.
1995 The company relocates from San Jose, CA, to St. George, UT, doubling their production and warehouse space.
2004 Reid-Ashman introduces electrical interface hardware.
2006 Electrical interface offering is increased by purchasing product line from SV Probe.
